Fuse box Replacement / Rewires
Before you replace / Upgrade your fusebox (Consumer Unit)
you must ensure you have an isolator switch installed
between your electricity meter and your fusebox (Consumer
unit).
This is required so the existing fusebox can be safely
replaced without having to pull out the main fuse.
It is illegal to remove this main fuse as everything
before the fusebox belongs to your electricity supplier /
National Grid.
Any one who tampers with there equipment, can be fined
and even given a criminal conviction.
It costs around a £100 to have one
fitted by the properly appointed installers.
This isolator switch is required before the fusebox can
be upgraded!
